Co-Fire supplies the products,with exception of the PRO-Line, in new not rusted condition.
This means that the products have a metallic grey to slightly rusted colour.
Achieving a full-fledged rust color can be achieved in several ways:
- Allow the products to reach its natural rust colour. Depending on the weather conditions this could lasts +-3 months for cast iron products and up to 6 months for Corten steel products
- You can help to appear the rust process more quickley by washing the desired products with houshold vinegar (2 parts vinegar/1 part water). Do that in a natural way, indicating if the product would rust as if the rain caused the rusting process. Repeat several times in order to accelerate your desired rusted colour.
- Co-Fire can deliver desired products also in a uniform rust colour. As this process is done manual, price depends on size and product, but is +-. € 10,- per product.
